Fall Events in the PNW: Events Around Bothell, Everett & Snohomish County

There’s something special about fall in the Pacific Northwest.

The mornings get a little cooler, the trees begin to change, and suddenly a weekend spent wandering a farmers market, exploring an art walk or heading to a hockey game sounds pretty perfect.

And you don’t have to head into Seattle to find plenty to do.

From Bothell and Everett to Snohomish and Mill Creek, here are a few September and October 2026 events worth adding to your fall calendar.

BOTHELL: Community, Art & a Little Sustainability

Bothell offers the best of both worlds—easy access to the outdoors paired with a

growing downtown and plenty of community spirit.

Sustainamania | September 26

Head to Bothell City Hall for Sustainamania, a community event focused on sustainability, practical ideas, and ways to live a little greener.

While you're there, stick around for the Mural Dedication at Triangle Junction at 2 p.m., celebrating Bothell's newest murals and the artists who created them.

It's a great excuse to spend a fall Saturday exploring downtown Bothell.

EVERETT: Markets, Pumpkins & PNW Traditions

There's plenty happening in Everett this fall, from the waterfront to downtown.

Everett Farmers Market | Sundays Through October

Don't put away the market basket just yet!

The Everett Farmers Market continues every Sunday through the end of October on Wetmore Avenue. Shop local produce, artisan foods, and handmade goods while enjoying one of those quintessential PNW fall mornings.

Autumn Equinox Harvest Market | September 19

Welcome the change of seasons at Everett's Autumn Equinox Harvest Market. Scheduled from noon to 5 p.m., it's a fitting way to mark the official arrival of fall.

Pints + Pumpkins | September 24

Could there be a more fall-friendly name?

Schack Art Center hosts Pints + Pumpkins from 5–8 p.m. on September 24, combining seasonal fun with Everett's vibrant arts scene.

Everett Coho Derby | September 26–27

Now this one feels distinctly Pacific Northwest.

The annual Everett Coho Derby returns to the Port of Everett for a weekend of fishing and friendly competition. Even if fishing isn't your thing, events like this are part of what gives waterfront living in Everett its distinctive character.

Everett Silvertips Hockey | September & October

Another sure sign that fall has arrived: hockey is back!

The Everett Silvertips hit the ice at Angel of the Winds Arena beginning with preseason action in early September, followed by regular-season games throughout the fall.

Downtown Trick-or-Treating | October 31

Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, making it an especially good one for families. Downtown Everett businesses will welcome little ghosts and goblins for the city's annual downtown trick-or-treating celebration.

SNOHOMISH: Small-Town Fall Charm

If Historic Downtown Snohomish doesn't already put you in a fall mood, we're not sure what will.

Snohomish Farmers Market | Thursdays in September

The Snohomish Farmers Market continues on Thursdays throughout September from 3–7 p.m. in Historic Downtown Snohomish.

It's an easy way to spend a late-summer-turned-early-fall afternoon shopping local and strolling downtown.

Snoho Art Walk | September 24

Make an evening of it! The Snoho Art Walk takes place from 5–8 p.m. at locations throughout downtown, giving visitors a chance to discover local artists, businesses, and the creative side of Snohomish.

Snohomish Arts Community Studio Tour | September 26–27

Spend a weekend meeting local artists and seeing where the creativity happens. The Snohomish Arts Community Studio Tour takes place at studios and locations around the community on September 26 and 27.

And honestly, you don't need a scheduled event to make Snohomish worth a fall visit. Historic downtown, local shops, nearby farms, and the surrounding countryside make it one of those places that seems especially suited to the season.

MILL CREEK: Halloween on Main Street

Trunk-or-Treat on Main | October 31

Mill Creek Town Center gets into the Halloween spirit with its annual Trunk-or-Treat on Main. Cars and businesses along Main Street will be handing out candy and treats, making it another fun family option for Halloween Saturday.

One More Reason to Love Fall in the PNW

Of course, some of the best fall activities around here don't require an official event at all.

Take a walk along the Sammamish River Trail. Explore a neighborhood park as the leaves begin to turn. Spend a Saturday in downtown Bothell or Snohomish. Head to the Everett waterfront. Find a pumpkin patch. Grab a coffee and take the long way home.

That's one of the things we love most about living in the Pacific Northwest. The communities north of Seattle each have their own personality, but they're connected by incredible scenery, access to the outdoors, and plenty of reasons to get out and explore.
