The Damascus House is a non-profit, Gospel-centered, drug and alcohol discipleship ministry. The Damascus House for Men opened in 2015 and we’re excited to open The Damascus House for Women in early 2022. Our heart-focused discipleship model teaches drug- and alcohol- dependent men and women the life-changing truth of the Gospel. Residents will learn what it means to leave the old self behind (Ephesians 4:22), to renew their minds on God’s Word (Ephesians 4:23) and how to truly live a Christ-like life that brings honor and glory to God (Ephesians 4:24, 1 Corinthians 10:31). The Damascus House firmly believes that the Gospel has the power to transform lives of addiction to lives of worship and freedom in Christ.
WAYS TO GIVE
We are so thankful to God for His faithfulness to this ministry through the giving of His people. Whether you would like to give a one-time donation or become a partner with us, we are thankful for your cheerful and sacrificial offering.
The Damascus for Women is expected to be taking residents in 2022. We purchased a property in 2021 and there are a lot of items we need to fill the house and make it a home for future residents. The Damascus House for Women is registered at both Target and Amazon. On these lists are things like sheets, toiletries, etc. to help get the ministry up and running.
We have a number of ways you can serve at The Damascus House for Women. To see the list of volunteer opportunities, and how you might be able to help click the button below. We can't do what we do without our great volunteers. Make a difference!
