Snagging your dream home is always an exhilarating experience, especially when it seems like the odds are stacked against you. That's exactly what happened to one of my clients who called me at 4 PM on a Saturday, eager to make an offer on a home that had only been on the market for two days.
The listing agent informed me that there were already several offers on the table, and they would be reviewing them at 6 PM that evening. Without any time to waste, I quickly got in touch with the lender and had them call the listing agent to sing my clients' praises.
With the clock ticking, my clients and I worked together to put together an amazing offer in just 45 minutes. We included a personal letter from my clients to the seller, expressing their love for the home and why they were the perfect buyers for it.
At 6:15 PM, just 15 minutes after the review deadline, we received the exciting news: my clients had won the home! They paid just a little over the list price, much less than what they were willing to do.
My clients were over the moon with excitement and gratitude, and I couldn't have been happier to help them secure their dream home. It's amazing what can be accomplished with a little determination, a great lender, a solid offer--and a great Realtor.
